Sunil Shetty reveals after controversial statement on women, gets scolded by daughter Athiya
Suniel Shetty on Controversial Remark: Actor Sunil Shetty has recently revealed that he gets scolded a lot by his daughter Athiya after the controversial statements made by him.
Bollywood's 'Anna' i.e. Sunil Shetty has gained limelight these days because of his utterances. On one hand, he puts forward his opinions freely on social media and interviews, on the other hand, his daughter and actress Athiya Shetty is usually furious with his utterances. Now something like this has been witnessed, regarding which Sunil himself has informed.
In an interview with 'Zoom', Sunil Shetty revealed that Athiya keeps a close eye on his every conversation and sometimes even scolds him. He said laughingly, 'Whenever I give an interview and say something that people find wrong, the first thing I get to hear as soon as I reach home is Athiya's rebuke. She says - 'Papa, keep quiet na! You just had to say no comment.'
Sunil says that during promotions he tries to avoid controversial questions, but sometimes he speaks emotionally and then has to face the consequences. He believes that Athiya is the only one whom he is really afraid of. He said, 'Daughter's fear is very cute.'
Actually, recently Sunil Shetty had to face criticism for the statements made in some interviews. In an interview, he created a controversy by saying that the husband should get a chance to make a career and the wife should understand the responsibility of the child. Apart from this, while praising Athiya for conceiving naturally, he said something which many people on social media called a statement judging women.
He was criticized a lot for these statements and he was called a promoter of gender stereotypes. However, now Sunil has admitted that many times he speaks without thinking and for this he gets scolded at home.
