As per reports in the media, two people were discovered deceased in director and actor Rob Reiner's Brentwood residence on Sunday afternoon. A man and a woman were discovered deceased by firefighters. Their names have not yet been released, nor has their cause of death.
As per NBC4, a man and a woman, both approximately 78 years old and 68 years old, respectively, were found deceased inside. "The case is being investigated by LAPD's Robbery-Homicide Division," a police officer explained. "We're not in a position to make any statements on this matter at this time," a police officer stated. A heavy police presence was observed outside director Rob Reiner's mansion Sunday evening.
Rob Reiner's neighbors said the director and his wife lived in the home. Property records also indicate that Renner is the owner of the home. Renner and his wife, Michelle, married in 1989 and have three children. However, police have not yet confirmed that the two deceased were Renner and his wife.
