Conan wants to hear Adrian Brody's speech, hosting Oscars next year as well

The Hollywood Film Academy made the announcement on Monday that the host of the Oscars of the upcoming year i.e. 2026 will once again be Conan O'Brien. The ceremony will occur on March 15 of the new year. Conan O'Brien is also looking forward to hosting the 98th Oscars.
Conan O'Brien says, 'The only reason to host the Oscars next year is that I want to hear Adrian Brody finish his speech.' According to ABC, the broadcaster of this award, the 97th Oscars were watched by about 19.7 million viewers in early March. It was also the most-watched prime-time entertainment show of 2025.
Conan's hosting and comedy were highly praised at this Oscars. Regarding this, Craig Erwich, President of Disney Television Group, says, 'Conan's unique comedy style makes every moment of the Oscars special. Next year too, he will entertain decades with his talent, I am very excited about this.'
Next year, Conan O'Brien will be accompanied by a team of some other people, including Raj Kapoor and Katie Mullan as executive producers of the show. Jeff Ross and Mike Sweeney will return to the Oscars as producers. Apart from Hollywood, films from all over the world are included and nominated at the Oscars. This award means a lot to filmmakers.
