Rautela, who attended the festival for the fifth consecutive time, arrived in a shimmering silver creation by JoliPoli Couture — complete with crystal-clear work, sequin embroidery, flowing cape-style sleeves, and a maang tikka-inspired statement headpiece that immediately became the most discussed accessory of the evening. She shared the look via her official Instagram (@urvashirautela), where it racked up thousands of comments within hours. Soniya Bansal, meanwhile, made her Cannes debut representing her upcoming short film The Last Breath — a project she has both written and stars in, alongside Bigg Boss Marathi fame Shiv Thakare (@shivthakare9). According to reports, the film is directed by Subhash Kale and is built around the real-life story of a woman who stood firm against large-scale deforestation. Bansal described walking the red carpet as "a dream coming true" in a statement to Filmibeat, adding she "could not believe it was real for a few minutes." For her red carpet look, she reportedly wore an ensemble by designer Dolly J, inspired by Goddess Radha — traditional styling, soft makeup, elegant updo. The silver couture she wore for other appearances at the festival is what triggered the comparisons.
