Actor Tom Cruise who stars in Hollywood movies is back with another flick titled "Digger." It is also being reported that he would be reprising his role for the "Top Gun 3" movie series.
The first movie of the Top Gun series was released in 1986. The second movie, titled "Top Gun: Maverick," premiered in 2022. Another film, "Top Gun 3," has been confirmed for release in 2024. Ehren Kruger wrote the script for "Top Gun 3."
"Top Gun: Maverick" was an incredible success. It earned nearly $1.5 billion despite theater closures due to the pandemic, even though its budget was $170 million.
After 36 years, Tom Cruise returned to the film industry in "Top Gun: Maverick" (2022). He played Lieutenant Pete "Maverick." His character returns to flight school to train a new batch of pilots for a dangerous mission. That's when he meets Bradley Bradshaw (Miles Teller), the son of his best friend.
