Story

Before his entry, Dhull drew attention for reasons other than his regular content. According to the report, a video has resurfaced in which he allegedly calls women the “lower gender” and compares them with men, whom he calls the “higher gender.” The comments attracted further criticism online.

Another statement about women also went viral. In it, Dhull talks about a woman following him at around 11 pm and says the experience will help men understand what fear feels like. Media reports quote him as saying, “Try running after a girl at 11 o’clock at night. She’ll be terrified. Don’t tease her, just walk past her. You’ll know what fear is.”

Many users criticised the remarks and questioned his comments on women’s safety. Some said that following a woman at night can make her feel unsafe and that such situations should not be taken lightly. The report does not say whether Dhull has clarified or explained either clip.

Why It Matters

Bigg Boss routinely brings online personalities into the spotlight, and entrants with controversies tend to attract attention both inside and outside the house. Dhull’s past remarks are likely to be revisited by viewers, so how he conducts himself, and whether the show addresses his earlier statements, will shape how he is received.
