She agreed with the decision of Kannada actress Bhavana in becoming a mother without being married.

During the conversation, when Nithya was asked whether it was right or wrong to get pregnant before marriage, she said, "It's better to get pregnant before marriage than after marriage. It's okay to get pregnant without marriage. If you want children, it's okay not to get married."
