The next film by SS Rajamouli, titled “Varanasi,” is facing problems. The film had applied to obtain permission for using 150 water tankers required for shooting, but the HMWSSB denied this request. The crew was in need of water to create an underwater scene.
According to media reports, the board's decision has affected preparations for a key shooting being filmed on a special set. Telangana Today reported that the Board rejected the demand of the production team of SS Rajamouli's film "Varanasi."
Officials cited the summer season as the primary reason for this decision. Hyderabad's water supply system is under pressure due to the increasing demand for water and the heat. Officials stated that they cannot allocate such a large number of water tankers for non-essential purposes. They want the city's residents to have access to water.
