Kayoze Irani will never act now, told fans - 'I am sorry to disappoint...'

Actor Kayoze Irani has gained fame with his great performance in the movie 'Student of the Year'. Now, he has directed his debut film with 'Sarzameen'. He has confessed that he is not cut out for acting. Having acted in Bollywood, Kayoze ventured into film-making. He directed the web series 'Ajeeb Dastaan' in 2021.

Kayoze worked as an assistant director in Kartik Aaryan's film 'Dhamaka'. After gaining experience in filmmaking, Kayoze decided that he would use his experience in the film 'Sarzameen'. After this he stepped into direction with this film. He said, 'Kajol and Prithviraj never let me feel that I am a new director. Whenever they were on the set, they gave us a lot of respect. They listened to me and made me feel that I am a part of them.'

While talking to ANI, Kayoze admitted that he has no plans to return to acting. He said that he feels comfortable behind the camera. Acting is not for him.

He said, 'I don't think you will be able to see us acting again because I am making a film. I always wanted to do this. I am comfortable behind the camera. This was my aim. I am sorry to disappoint you. I don't think acting is for me.'

Apart from acting in Karan Johar's film 'Student of the Year', Kayoze also acted in 'Youngistan' and 'The Legend of Michelle Mishra'.

Kajol, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Ibrahim Ali Khan are in important roles in the film 'Sarzameen'. Its producers are Karan Johar, Hiroo Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Adar Poonawala. The film has been released under the banner of Dharma Productions. The acting of Kajol, Prithviraj and Ibrahim has been highly praised in the film.
