After nearly 5 years, Actress Rhea Chakraborty has received her passport back. The Bombay High Court recently ruled in her favor, allowing her to return documents related to the Sushant Singh Rajput case. Her passport had been confiscated during the investigation into Sushant Singh Rajput's death. Upon receiving her passport, the actress wrote an emotional post on social media.
On Instagram, Rhea Chakraborty recalled her difficult times and "countless struggles," saying that "patience" was her only passport during this time. In her message, she also expressed how she is ready for a new beginning. She wrote, "For the last five years, patience was my only passport. Countless struggles. Infinite hope. Today, I have my passport back. Ready for Chapter 2!"
Rhea Chakraborty was in the news after the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput in June 2020. There were reports of an affair between her and Sushant. On September 8, 2020, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) detained her in the drugs case related to Sushant's death. However, she was granted bail on the condition of surrendering her passport to the NCB.
Note that Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Bandra apartment on June 14, 2020. On the film front, Rhea was last seen in Rumi Jaffery's film "Chehre." In it, she worked alongside actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi, and Annu Kapoor.
