Sai shared her experience of getting cheated in relationship, said- 'You should have the courage to tell this to your partner'

Actress Sai Tamhankar, who appeared opposite Emraan Hashmi in the new release 'Ground Zero', discussed her personal life, love, betrayal and deceptions outside of acting. Apart from this, she also expressed her observations regarding a few patterns of emotional behavior influencing romantic relationships.
In a recent conversation with Hotterfly, actress Sai Tamhankar talked about one of her relationships and said, “Yes, of course I have been cheated on. Cheated on at a young age. I think I have had a lot of bad relationships in my life, very early on. I have learnt a lot from that. I also think it is a little unnatural to be with one person. I believe that if you cheat, have the courage to come back openly and tell your partner that you have done it. Both of you make peace with it.”
On unresolved issues often resurfacing during arguments, Sai says, “Then the girl doesn’t have to do this in every fight. But girls do it. In every fight, if there is some old thing. I have also done it, so I am saying it. She does it, so it shouldn’t happen. On the anxiety and fear of cheating in a committed relationship, the actress said, “When a relationship is formed, that anxiety or that feeling is still alive. But it's not really distance."
Sai Tamhankar was previously married to visual effects artist Amey Gosavi. The two got married on 15 December 2013, but separated by mutual consent in 2015. However, they never publicly revealed the reason for their separation.
