Shah Rukh Khan's 2023 comeback with "Jawan," "Pathaan," and "Dunki" was a smash hit, cementing his status as the "King of Bollywood." After a four-year hiatus, the superstar returned in a blaze of glory, dominating the box office around the world. His films topped several charts, and now they've also made it onto the list of the top 10 most Googled movies of 2023.

In fact, Khan is the only actor to have two films on the list, which is even more impressive considering that they both released in the same year.

With "Pathaan," "Jawan," and "Dunki," Khan has now delivered three back-to-back blockbusters. The films have been critical and commercial successes, grossing over ₹10 billion (US$1.2 billion) worldwide. They have also drawn over 80 million viewers, with "Jawan" contributing 39.3 million, "Pathaan" contributing 32 million, and "Dunki" contributing over 1 million.

"Pathaan" opened the year with a bang, grossing ₹5.24 billion (US$650 million) in India (Hindi) and ₹5.45 billion (US$675 million) worldwide. It also broke records overseas, grossing over $49.25 million.

"Jawan" released in June and became the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time, with a net collection of ₹6.43 billion (US$800 million) in India (all languages). Of that, ₹5.8 billion came from the Hindi version alone, which is another record for Hindi cinema.

"Dunki" released last month and has already grossed ₹4.1 billion (US$500 million) worldwide in just 13 days. It is expected to cross ₹4.6 billion (US$550 million) by the end of its run.

Khan's success in 2023 is a testament to his enduring popularity and star power. He is still the biggest draw in Indian cinema, and his films continue to break box office records.
