54-year-old actor Malcolm Jamal Warner dies due to drowning in the sea

Actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner, who won the hearts of the audience by portraying the role of Theo Huxtable in the renowned American television series 'The Cosby Show' during the 80s, is no more. The actor passed away at the age of 54. He was a victim of an accident on the beach of Costa Rica while swimming.

According to the judicial investigation agency of Costa Rica, this incident happened on Sunday afternoon when Warner was swimming in the sea on the Playa Grande de Cocles coast of Limon province. It is being told that the sudden strong sea current pulled him towards deep water. After drowning in the sea, Warner was pulled out by the people present there, but by the time the emergency services i.e. the Costa Rica Red Cross team arrived, he had breathed his last. When taken to the hospital, the doctors declared him dead.

Malcolm-Jamal Warner became known in every household in America when he played the role of Theo Huxtable in the popular sitcom 'The Cosby Show' which ran from 1984 to 1992. He was the youngest son of Doctor Huxtable in the show. Warner, who played the character of Theo, was not only a brilliant actor, but later he also made his mark as a director and producer.
