Recently, Jr. NTR's team released a statement, which read, "We are saddened to inform you that Mr. NTR has suffered a shoulder injury. After a thorough medical examination, the team of doctors led by Dr. J. Madhusudhan Rao and Dr. R.A. Poornachandra Tejaswi has advised him to undergo complete bed rest for six to eight weeks to allow for his full recovery."
