Ever since the release of Lady Superstar Nayanthara's documentary 'Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale', the actress has been in legal trouble. The documentary was released on Netflix in November last year. After this, actor Dhanush sent a legal notice to Nayanthara. Actually, a few seconds of BTS footage of Dhanush's production film 'Naanum Rowdy Dhan' was included in the documentary. Dhanush sent a legal notice to the actress demanding Rs 10 crore for using the content of the film without permission. Nayanthara had reacted to this by issuing a public statement. Now a new controversy has surfaced over the documentary.

Dhanush had filed a case against Nayanthara, her husband, and director Vignesh Shivan, and Netflix. Now the makers of Nayanthara's superhit film 'Chandramukhi' have also sent a notice to the actress and Netflix. It is alleged that a clip from 'Chandramukhi' has been used in Nayanthara's documentary. The makers have sent a legal notice to Nayanthara and Netflix demanding Rs 5 crore for the unauthorized use of the film's content.

Ever since her documentary release, Nayanthara has been getting back-to-back legal notices. Following a legal notice from Dhanush, Nayanthara had shared a post on social media that Dhanush was asking for Rs 10 crore, accusing her of copyright infringement. Now, as the makers of Chandramukhi too have sent a notice, the fans of the actress and the industry are eagerly waiting for Nayanthara to break her silence.

Nayanthara is one of the leading South actresses. She has proven her mettle in not just Malayalam but also several Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada films. She made her Bollywood debut with the film 'Jawaan' opposite Shah Rukh Khan and took away everyone's heart. Coming to Nayanthara's documentary, it hit Netflix on 18 November. Coming to Nayanthara's personal life, she married Vignesh Shivan in the year 2022. The couple has twins - Uyir and Ulagam.
