Kriti Sanon has also done women-oriented films in her career. She plays the role of a strong woman in films. She is the same in real life, too. Kriti believes that there should not be an income gap in the film industry. However, the current situation is like this, this thing hurts Kriti a lot.

Speaking at a CNN News 18 event on Thursday, Kriti Sanon says, 'I don't understand why there is no equality in salary? For certain types of roles, certain types of work, whether you are a man or a woman, it does not matter. I believe that the salary should be equal. It should be the same in films as well. We have been talking about this for a very long time, believe me, this thing (income gap) hurts us the most.'

Kriti Sanon further says, 'Even if a film is woman-centric, I think its budget is not as much as that film which is hero-centric. Producers are afraid that they will not get that much money back from woman-centric films. So I think this is a circle where woman-centric films are not able to earn as much as hero-centric films. Because of this, many people feel that the hero's fees are high and the heroine's are low.'

Talking about Kriti Sanon's career front, she will be seen in the film 'Tere Ishq Mein' directed by Anand L Rai this year. South Indian actor Dhanush is opposite her in this film. At the same time, she has also become a part of the film 'Cocktail 2'.
