Isha Malviya's first film lead comes after television, reality TV and a run of music videos, but no earlier film roles. On October 23, the 22-year-old reaches cinemas opposite Gurmeet Choudhary in 'Tum Mere Ho', a romance directed by Aashish Panda. The makers are presenting it as her Bollywood debut. The film releases ten days before her 23rd birthday on November 2.

Malviya first reached a wide audience through 'Udaariyaan', a TV drama about a Punjab family's daughters and one daughter's hopes of moving to Canada. On the show, which ran from 2021 to 2024, she played Jasmine Kaur Sandhu, a character later credited as Jasmine Ahluwalia, and also played Harleen Adavait Kapoor. She then became a contestant on Bigg Boss 17.
Her largest audience, though, is online. She has 4.1 million followers on Instagram, and her music videos have drawn tens of millions of views. 'Justin Bieber', in which she appears with Elvish Yadav, has 37 million views on YouTube. Jubin Nautiyal's 'Zor Ki Barsaat Hui', with Abhishek Malhan, has 32 million. All figures are as of September 25, 2026. Her music-video work also includes Sanju Rathod's 'Shaky'.
That last song links her past work to this film. Sanju Rathod is among the composers and lyricists of 'Tum Mere Ho', according to the credits shared with IANS. So Malviya's move to film includes a collaborator from her music-video work.
The film
'Tum Mere Ho' is presented by Reva Creative House and DebGuru Films, according to the poster credits. It is produced by Aarti S and Debina Bonnerjee, with Romanch Mehta and Amman Riyastee as co-producers. Saregama is attached to the music, and PVR Pictures is distributing the film. The film is written by Niranjan Iyengar and Purva Naresh, and Shaan R Grover and Anushkaa Luhar also appear in it.
In a statement carried by IANS, Panda described the film as a love story tested by "emotions, challenges and circumstances." The same statement was first issued at the poster launch on September 18, according to earlier coverage.
Background
The film shares its title with the 1990 'Tum Mere Ho', starring Aamir Khan and Juhi Chawla and directed by Aamir's father Tahir Hussain. The two films are unrelated.
What happens next
'Tum Mere Ho' releases in theatres on Friday, October 23. Malviya also has a hosting project in progress. According to a September 10 report by Business Upturn, she and Elvish Yadav, her co-star from the 'Justin Bieber' video, are hosting 'Rizz Master', a vertical-format dating reality show being made for JioHotstar Tadka. A release date has not been announced.
