Recently, in an interview, Naga Vamsi stated that he is releasing "NBK 109" because there isn't much competition for the forthcoming Sankranti season. Some of Ram Charan's supporters got angry with him following this statement.

In such a case, some of his fans heavily criticised the producer for this reason. After this, the producer corrected his statement during an interview. He stated that during the conversation, the host told him that around six films would be released this time. I understand that six films would not be released on Sankranti, which is why I stated that the competition is not big As far as I know, only three films are set to be released. Naga Vamsi also claimed that his statement was misrepresented. He said, my words were twisted.

Naga Vamsi said, "The host clearly said that there will be six releases, since I have knowledge about films in the industry due to which I replied that there will not be much competition. These fan war batches never stop their agenda. No matter how much we try to reduce their negativity, they never stop. They have no understanding of it."
