Lara Dutta Enjoys French Riviera Summer with Family
Actress Lara Dutta shares glimpses of her summer getaway on the French Riviera with husband Mahesh Bhupathi and daughter Saira.
Mumbai, Aug 1 — Actress Lara Dutta is spending her summer on the French Riviera with husband Mahesh Bhupathi and daughter Saira, sharing glimpses of the family getaway on social media.
On Saturday, Dutta posted a series of photographs on her official Instagram account. The first image shows her smiling at the camera while seated in a restaurant. Subsequent frames capture Bhupathi in a similar setting, Dutta posing affectionately with Saira, and several scenic views of the beach and surrounding landscape. A group photograph of the three by the waterfront rounds out the album.
Captioning the post, Dutta wrote: “A summer on the French Riviera! What’s not to love……. @mbhupathi.”
Dutta and Bhupathi first met at what was ostensibly a business meeting, though it is widely understood that the encounter was arranged as an opportunity for Bhupathi to meet her. At the time Bhupathi was married to model Shvetha Jaishankar; the couple separated in 2009. After a period of dating, Dutta and Bhupathi married in a simple ceremony in Mumbai on February 16, 2011, followed by a church wedding on February 20. Their daughter Saira was born on January 20, 2012.
On the professional front, Dutta was most recently seen in the comedy Welcome To The Jungle, which featured an ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Jackie Shroff, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Farida Jalal, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade and Tusshar Kapoor.
