Actor Pradeep Rawat is no more. He was an actor in many popular movies of South and Bollywood industries and died today, 4th August. He was 74 years old. He began his career from BR Chopra’s television serial Mahabharata, in which he played Ashwatthama.
This news was broken by Actor Yashpal Sharma through his social media account Instagram and posted a tribute for Pradeep Rawat. He said, "Pradeep Rawat, our Ghajini. A humble tribute to the God of Lagaan". Pradeep Rawat portrayed Deva Singh Sodhi in the movie Lagaan.
Pradeep Rawat originally hails from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, where he was born. His journey into the world of lighting and cameras was not easy. Initially, he faced numerous rejections, but then the veteran filmmaker B.R. Chopra noticed his charismatic personality. This is what landed him the role of Ashwatthama in 'Mahabharata'. This role catapulted Rawat into household popularity. It proved to be a turning point in his career, opening doors to greater opportunities in cinema.
