Mumbai, August 12 — Actress Mallika Sherawat has made a bold claim involving Hollywood star Tom Cruise, stating that he regularly texts her and has a crush on her.
Appearing on the reality show The Traitors, Sherawat responded to a question from stand-up comedian Aditya Kulshrestha, who asked whether she had ever had a crush on anyone or if everyone had a crush on her.
“Everyone has had a crush on me. Tom Cruise has had a crush on me recently. I’m not lying. If I had a phone, I would’ve shown you his videos,” she said.
When asked about the nature of the videos, Sherawat replied: “No, when we were partying together and all. He’s fabulous.”
The claim comes from an actress who has previously highlighted high-profile international connections. Earlier, she shared her excitement after receiving an invitation to the White House Christmas dinner, describing the experience as “completely surreal.”
She posted a series of photographs from the event on Instagram, showing herself amid festive décor, sparkling lights and decorated Christmas trees. Sherawat also shared a video of then-US President Donald Trump delivering Christmas and New Year wishes, with herself visible in the crowd, along with a glimpse of the meal served.
“Being invited to the White House Christmas dinner feels completely surreal – Grateful,” she wrote in the caption. The reception was held at the White House on December 18, 2025.
Sherawat’s latest remarks on The Traitors have drawn attention for their directness, placing a personal claim about one of Hollywood’s biggest stars into the public conversation around the reality series.
