Fans React
Users flooded the post with reactions. Many referred to the couple by their fan-given name “Virosh,” with one writing “Virosh meets Vijay.” Others wrote “When both Vijays met,” “Rowdy Vijay meets Thalapathy Vijay” and “Three stars in one frame.”
Background
C. Joseph Vijay was sworn in as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister on May 10, 2026, after his party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), emerged as the single largest party in the Assembly election and formed a coalition government with support from other parties. He was one of Tamil Nadu’s biggest film stars before entering politics.
Why It Matters
Meetings between film personalities and political leaders draw attention in South Indian cinema, where the two worlds are closely linked. Because Vijay is both a star and the sitting Chief Minister, a visit like this reads as part fan moment and part industry courtesy. Deverakonda’s warm tone suggests the exchange was personal, though the source gives no sign of any official purpose.
