Dreams came true for actress Himanshi Parashar as she made her debut with the show "Teri Meri Doriyaann". The actress, who was seen in the web series PHD (Pyaar Hai Drama) on ZEE5, says that she could not have asked for a better debut as the show comes to a close.

“Teri Meri Doriyaann was my first Hindi TV show. Being the lead of a daily soap on Star Plus is a big deal, and I made my debut with a bang. Our show used to hit the charts, which made our show a success. I’ve gained a lot of knowledge working here, be it technical knowledge, polishing my acting skills, learning about how things work in a TV show, and a lot more. I’ve given my heart and soul to my work. This show was my life from October 2022 until now. I’ve made friends here and have received a lot of love from the team. The audience has given us so much love and made Sahiba a household name. I can’t thank the makers enough for giving me the opportunity to play Sahiba in our show,” she says.

All good things come to an end, she says, adding, “When I got to know about the news of our show going off the air, I felt so heavy in my heart. I remember I was so emotional when I got the news of Sahiba dying in the show. That was very heartbreaking for me, but the fact that I would be playing another character on our show, which would be completely opposite to Sahiba, kept me going. But this time, our whole show is ending. So, it was quite hard for us. Knowing that our show is winding up and we’re shooting the last few episodes was not easy at all. We were all very much connected to our show.”

What’s next? “I’ve just started working and have so much in me to showcase. I just don’t want to stop. I’m an actor, and I want to just act, be it television shows, web series, or movies. I’m open to all. I should just find my script convincing enough for me to portray my character with full faith and passion. I’m auditioning right now and hopefully will grab something good,” she says.
