Kalki 2898 AD reached ₹ 400 crore in barely 8 days. Kalki 2898 AD is not just breaking, but shattering box office records. On day 8, Nag Ashwin's magnum opus earned ₹ 22.30 crore across all languages, according to a Sacnilk report. The legendary sci-fi film has surpassed the ₹400 crore mark. The film's total collection is presently ₹ 414.75 crore. Kalki 2898 AD was released on June 27 and stars Kamal Haasan as Supreme, Amitabh Bachchan as Ashwathama, Deepika Padukone as Sumati, Prabhas as Bhairava, and Disha Patani as Roxie. The film, produced by Ashwini Dutt's Vyjayanthi Movies, was released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.

According to a post from Kalki 2898 AD's official Instagram page, the film shattered box office records in North America as well. They shared a poster depicting Prabhas' persona. The poster's top text says, "Epic Blockbuster Fastest $14 M+ Grosser in North America." The side note says, “The Supreme Lord of the box office…..Leaving no stone unturned with his Mightiest Record Breaking Rules.”' .

 
On Saturday, Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh posted a comment on X with a one-week box office collected for the Hindi adaptation of Kalki 2898 AD. He added, "#Kalki2898AD is super-steady on Day 7 and shows strong legs at the #BO... Major centres provide a significant share of revenue. Collecting in double digits on weekdays indicates a strong hold... It also suggests that the film has gained acceptability, which is reflected in its statistics.#Kalki2898AD is likely to reach DOUBLE CENTURY in Weekend 2.

Kalki 2898 AD includes guest appearances by Mrunal Thakur, Ram Gopal Varma, SS Rajamouli, Vijay Deverakonda, and Dulquer Salmaan.
