This film featuring Karthi and Arvind Swamy is directed by Prem Kumar. Sri Divya is also going to be seen in the film. This movie is releasing in Telugu on 28th September as 'Satyam Sundaram'. Karthi, along with the team of his upcoming film, has reached Hyderabad, where the pre-release event of his film is to be held. During this, the actor talked to the Telugu film media and also shared many interesting things about the film.

During this, he said that both his and Arvind Swamy's character is very important in the film. The actor said, “Arvind Swamy grew up in a village, and this film is a reflection of his life. He became very emotional after reading the script of the film. There was our brotherhood in the film." Karthi further said that Satyam Sundaram could not have been imagined without Arvind Swamy. The actor further said that this film also takes place in one night just like 96. Karthi said that he was teary-eyed after hearing the story of this film. He further said that it beautifully depicts the unconditional love between a family.

Karthi's 'Satyam Sundaram' and Jr NTR's 'Devara' are releasing together. Regarding the clash, Karthi said that to avoid this, the Telugu version of the film is being released on 28 September. He said, "The Tamil version of Satyam Sundaram is releasing on 27 September, but to avoid the clash with NTR's Devara, its Telugu version is being released on 28 September. Devara is like a war film, our Satyam Sundaram is like Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu." It is worth noting that 'Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu' is a family film.
