In this regard, Shahid has revealed in the Punjab First Voice podcast that his parents, Pankaj Kapoor and Neelima Azeem, divorced when he was 3-4 years old. After that, he has been living with his mother and didn't spend much time with his father. This is the reason very few people knew that Shahid was the son of actor Pankaj Kapoor.
Shahid said that he never benefited from being a "star kid." His mother, Neelima Azeem, single-handedly raised him. Shahid said, "I never took advantage of my father's name. I never asked him for help, nor did he ever call anyone to get me work. I achieved everything through my own hard work."
Today, Shahid is a famous Bollywood actor. He is the husband of Mira Rajput and they have two lovely children: a daughter and a son. He says that after returning home from shooting, he likes to be just a father, husband, and son. Shahid never takes his work home.
Shahid was last seen in the film "Deva." He is currently shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj's new film, which will feature actors like Tripti Dimri and Nana Patekar. Shahid is also filming "Cocktail 2" with Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna.
