In an interview with Archana and her family, Sudesh discussed his struggling days and discussed about his career life. Sudesh Lahiri tells Archana Puran Singh and her family that when he was struggling, he used to run his own orchestra and sing at weddings. While he was singing at a wedding, a drunkard came on stage and slapped him hard. Sudesh was shocked by this slap, he did not understand why this happened. He came home after finishing the show and told his wife that people do not appreciate his art because he is not a big name.
Further Sudesh says that he sold his house, and gave money to the orchestra people. After this, he started working as a comedian. After a few years, he was seen in Punjabi serials and films. Later he became a part of a Hindi comedy show named Comedy Circus, its judge was Archana. Sudesh got famous from this platform.
Sudesh Lahiri also tells in Archana Puran Singh's vlog that before becoming a comedian, he did all kinds of work to run the family, sold vegetables, worked in a factory, and sang in an orchestra. All these things improved his comedy skills. Today he uses all these experiences in his comedy.
