Actress Fatima Sana Shaikh is the talk of the town now with new film 'Metro These Days'. Here, the actress was seen promoting the film. In it, Fatima spoke about the Me Too movement and 'casting couch' as well. Furthermore, she revealed how the situation transformed after the Me Too movement and what changes have come out of it.

During a conversation with Humans of Bombay, Fatima said that a change is being seen in the industry after the Me Too campaign. Things have changed to a great extent and accountability has increased. The actress said, 'I think things have changed. People are very accountable. They are a little more scared. Today, most film sets have units to address misconduct complaints before they escalate into police cases, so you can approach them with complaints about these matters. Conversations on these issues are taken more seriously now. There are conversations. There are investigations. It happens in every industry.'

The actress further said, 'You are working with someone, you become intimate. But then you don't understand, things change. All this happens often. The benefit of the doubt is often, rightly, given to women. Because it is a male-dominated industry. And now, after Me Too, women can talk about it. You will be held accountable.'

Talking about her experiences, the actress said that I have not faced this in Bollywood. It is not that the industry is bad. Any incident that has happened was just a small, minor thing and some conversation. Such issues are not limited to film sets only. In fact, this problem is equally serious in the corporate world. When you are together, the corporate industry is life. So it is even more there. Even more dangerous.' Meanwhile, Fatima praised Posh. She said that in this agency you can have a meeting with the artists, crew and all the HODs. You will be told what your rights are, what is right, what is not.
