A Difficult Year
Reflecting on the period, Anjali described 2020 as the most challenging phase of her life. "2020 was the most difficult period of my life. I was thinking of moving out of India. I didn't want to act anymore. I wasn't getting anything because of the lockdown," she shared. Living alone on rent at the time, she revealed that the financial strain of the pandemic left her nearly depleted. "I ran out of money during the lockdown, as I was living alone on rent at the time. So it was all over. All my savings were gone in six months."
