Hollywood director was shocked to see Kareena in the restaurant, said 'Are you the same girl?'

The moderator of this was none other than Karan Johar. He asked Kareena a question regarding working in Hollywood films. Bebo answered this in an interesting manner. Also, while recounting a meeting with veteran Hollywood director Steven Spielberg, she mentioned that he noticed her work.

Kareena Kapoor told the Waves Summit that her meeting with Steven Spielberg happened suddenly in a restaurant. During this, the director recognized the actress and walked up to her. Kareena said that this incident of the meeting happened after the release of her film '3 Idiots'. Kareena Kapoor also appeared in an important role in this film starring Aamir Khan, R. Madhavan, and Sharman Joshi.

Kareena Kapoor recalled that incident and said, 'I was in a restaurant. I was travelling somewhere, and Steven Spielberg was also present in the same restaurant. This was a long time ago, when '3 Idiots' was released. Spielberg came up to me and asked, 'Are you the same girl who is in the famous Indian film based on three students?' I said, 'Yes, it is me!' During this meeting, Spielberg told Kareena, 'My God, I liked that film very much'.

When Kareena Kapoor was asked if she would work in Hollywood? To this, the actress replied, 'I think it did not happen naturally. Films are my passion. They flow in my veins. I was born in this family. Times are changing. But, it is not in my nature to chase anything. However, if it is destined to happen, maybe a Hindi-English film will come. After all, even Spielberg is watching our films'!
