Speaking to fellow Ruler Swara Bhasker during the latest episode, Gautam did not soften his words: "I can't sit with people who have given me trauma... mere ko inki na shakal Jeevan mein dekhni hai na iss show ke baad dekhni hai.."
Reality TV contestants often say they'll leave the drama in the house once filming ends. Gautam ruled that out for this rivalry, saying it would continue after the show.
How the Final Rise Challenge Set the Stage
The tension had been building all through the episode. In the final Rise challenge, Niharika, Priyanka and Sonam Malik competed for the last two places in the Top 6, with Karan Patel acting as scorekeeper as the three fought for a spot in the Penthouse.
When Niharika said they would not cheat to get ahead, Gautam questioned her claim. She hit back: "Tum toh bolo hi mat, tum sabse bade cheater ho yahan pe." Gautam brushed it off as "Fake content". That two-word reply also suggested he thinks some of the conflict is being played up for the cameras.
The challenge ended with Niharika and Priyanka winning the two remaining spots, while Sonam Malik was eliminated.
What gives the moment weight is how the finale has been set up. Swara, Gautam and Karan Patel have secured their finale places as Rulers. Shehzad Poonawalla, who had already earned a finale spot, joins them. Niharika and Priyanka complete the line-up in the Penthouse.
So Gautam's refusal to share a table is more than a passing outburst. It is now a central storyline for the last stretch of the season. The format pushes contestants into close quarters, and the Penthouse leaves little room for keeping your distance. With a Ruler openly at odds with two of the final six, every task, conversation and alliance from here on will be watched through this feud.
The episode also shows how far the Rulers and the contestants who fought their way up have drifted apart. Niharika and Priyanka earned their places by competing in the challenge. Gautam's comments suggest that their win hasn't made things any easier between them.
Viewers who follow the show now have a clear rivalry going into the finale. Whether it cools down or flares up further is likely to shape how the season's final chapter plays out. Rise and Fall Season 2 is hosted by Virendra Sehwag.
