The hobby of music is such that a person cannot quickly get out of its spell. Music director Sahajahn Shaikh, who is infatuated with music, says something similar. He has a passion for music and has been associated with music over the years.
Kolkata-based composer Sahajahn Shaikh Sagar is well-trained in classical music. He learned a lot from his mentor Piyush Kantpal. From 1991 to 2000, he worked as an assistant and associate with many musicians. Then there was a break in his musical journey and after a gap of several years, he again stepped into the field of music from 2014. Through many albums and films, he took his music to the people.
He says “Music supports a human being in the form of a medicine. Whether one is in love, or one is heartbroken, music acts as a comfort in all kinds of emotions. Through music, we reach out to people’s hearts want to get off.”
Sahajahn Shaikh Sagar says on which singer he feels comfortable working with “We have worked with many singers including Asha Bhosle, Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik, Jubin Nautiyal, Shaan, Shreya Ghoshal, but Raj Burman, Jubin Nautiyal ,Working with Kumar Sanu is a different pleasure, one gets to learn a lot from him.The magic of earlier melodo songs is still intact. You can watch songs of Rafi Saheb,Mukesh,Mannade, Kishore Kumar ji The songs of the 90s still resonate in the hearts and minds of people.
A few days ago, his film Dedh Lakh Ka Dulha, Jee Lene Do Ek Pal and Zee Music’s album Aa Bhi Jaao Na, Jis Waqt Tera Chehra and Khan Saheb Ki Party Hai, such projects have come, the songs of which have been sung by singer Amit Mishra.
