Lara Dutta has shared a post from her Instagram account today on Sunday. She has shared some throwback photos. With this it is written, 'This post is for my friend Deanne'. It is further written, 'I went to see his son Ahaan's film yesterday. I have known Ahaan since childhood and it has been a joy to watch him grow into an opinionated, well-educated and charming boy. We never doubted that Ahaan would become a star but the credit goes to his mother.
DP (as I call Deanne Panday) has been more than a friend to me for the last 25 years. She was there for me when I first came to Mumbai as a teenager and didn't know anyone. She and her family made me feel like I had friends who would take care of me. She was there when I won Miss India and Miss Universe and helped me stay grounded and take care of my fitness and mental health. She has been there for me through difficult times in relationships, breakups, my marriage, the birth of my daughter and recently, the loss of my parents.
Lara further wrote, 'She has just been quietly, completely with me, with compassion, courage and love. I have seen her always come forward to help her family and friends despite being mentally and physically exhausted. She is always there for her loved ones. Quietly gets to work and takes care of whatever needs to be done and never asks for anything in return. She loves her kids Alana and Ahaan more than anything in the world (probably second only to grandson River now), and has been a supermom and grandma making all their dreams come true'. Lara further wrote, 'My darling DP... I am so happy and proud of what your kids have achieved. I know how hard you have worked. How many prayers have you said for them. I hope whatever achievements your two lovely kids achieve will be a testament to your good deeds and your wonderful personality'!
