Priyanka Chopra Jonas has announced a sequel to one of the most important films in her producing career. “Ventilator 2” follows the 2016 film that was the first Marathi production from her banner, Purple Pebble Pictures. Recalling the origins of her company, Priyanka wrote, “10 years ago, with Purple Pebble Pictures, I decided I wanted to tell stories that mean something.” She called “Ventilator” one of the very important stories for the company, adding that after a decade the team is returning to its world.
The Team Reunites
Rajesh Mapuskar will write and direct the sequel, reuniting with Priyanka after the first film. Mapuskar, who earlier made “Ferrari Ki Sawaari,” also launched his own production house with the original film. The sequel is scheduled to arrive in 2027, but details of the cast and storyline have not been announced. aninews
