Pakistani Actress: An actress has told the story of her husband's excesses. Said - dragged hair, hit with a gun, and crossed the limit.
A well-known actress from Pakistan who works in theatre and movies has made serious allegations against her husband. The actress claims that her husband brutally assaulted her and crossed all limits of cruelty. The reason for this is said to be property transfer.
The actress is Nargis, also known as Ghazala Idris. On Friday, details of the incident have been revealed. An inspector with the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) in Lahore, Majid Bashir is accused of beating his wife so badly that she had several injuries to her face, eyes, and other body parts. The woman claims that she refused to transfer her property to the accused.
According to a report in Pakistan's leading daily Dawn, the FIR stated that "Majid Bashir repeatedly hit my face with his official gun, causing injuries around my eyes."
The report was filed against Bashir at the Defence C Police Station by Nargis' brother Khurram Bhatti. The report said that Bashir had been beating the actress earlier as well.
On Friday, Nargis had alleged that her husband crossed "all limits" when she was dragged by her hair, humiliated, and beaten in front of her nephew and staff. She said Bashir also inserted the barrel of his official gun in her mouth in an attempt to injure her jaw.
She alleged all that was done with the motive of grabbing a piece of land, gold jewelry, and other property. The actress shared a viral video clip through her social media account showing several injury marks on her body.
The local media is reporting, "Lahore police are raiding different places to arrest Bashir." Bashir has gone missing ever since the incident came into the headlines.
Nargis has also stated in the FIR that the inspector wanted to live with the ex-wife of a famous TV host in his house. The actress, owner of a beautician salon in Lahore, was also attacked by her ex-husband (dismissed police inspector 'Boxer') Abid in 2002. She was quite popular at that time and was at the height of her career.
