Actress Radhika Apte, currently seen in "Lust Stories 3," has once again opened up about one of the more distressing episodes of her career-the aftermath of an intimate scene from one of her films being leaked online. In a candid conversation, she described just how deeply the incident affected her sense of safety at the time, revealing she was too afraid to step outside her own home for several days.
Trapped by Fear
Speaking to India Today, Apte recalled the unsettling reality of how quickly such leaked content can spread into deeply personal spaces. "When an intimate scene I did got leaked, I literally couldn't leave the house for four days. The problem is that it can reach your home very quickly. Your doorbell can ring and someone can get angry and stand outside your house. So, it's not that easy," she explained, capturing the very real sense of vulnerability such incidents can create for those affected.
When the Personal and Professional Collide
Adding to her distress was the uncomfortable realization that people within her own immediate circle-individuals she worked with and trusted-had also seen the leaked content. She revealed that her watchman had come across the video, as had her stylist's driver. Recounting a particularly unsettling detail, she said, "It's much more difficult. I remember my stylist telling me that his driver was watching the clip over and over again and asking her, 'Are you going to his house?' My watchman had seen it too. Things like this started happening and it became very difficult to deal with them."
