In a statement uploaded on his official Instagram account on Saturday itself, confirmation was given that performances scheduled on Philadelphia's 'Academy of Music' on June 28 and 29 will no longer take place. The reason given was - unbearable and chronic back pain, which is requiring immediate medical attention.
Paul Simon is currently on his 'A Quiet Celebration Tour', which has once again become a means of bringing the great music of his career to the fans. As part of this tour, he is performing in many cities of America. His first show in Philadelphia was successfully held on Thursday, but the last two shows have now been cancelled.
