Virat had requested to take Anushka along on Australia tour for the first time, it was amazing

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have had a great relationship for years. Anushka Sharma is a great admirer of cricketer Virat Kohli. Their relationship is based on respect and love. Ravi asked us to allow Anushka to accompany him on the tour. There was a BCCI rule during that time that only the wives could accompany the cricketers, not girlfriends. Shastri stepped into the matter and made the necessary calls. From there, he assured Anushka would accompany Virat.

Ravi Shastri's decision brought about a big change. When Anushka accompanied Virat, Virat played very well. Virat scored 160 runs in the Melbourne Test. To express his happiness, Virat sent a flying kiss to Anushka. Virat showed that Virat was able to play well because of Anushka's support.

Virat and Anushka met during an ad shoot in 2013. After this, the closeness between the two started increasing. Both got married on 11 December 2017. On 11 January 2021, both welcomed a girl. She was named Vamika. On 15 February, both welcomed a son Aakay.
