An old video of singer Sonu Nigam has recently gone viral on social media. This video was made by a fan and shared by Sonu on his Instagram account. In this video, he recounts his concert in Karachi, Pakistan, during which a bomb blast occurred.

The video shows Sonu Nigam's concert taking place on April 10, 2004, just a short distance from the Karachi attack site. According to the video, despite the attack, the show continued under tight security. Sonu sang several Bollywood songs from the stage for the Pakistani audience.

The video also includes an interview with the late organizer, Furqan T. Siddiqui. Giving details of the blast, he described how the roads were cleared after the attack and the singer was escorted to the venue under heavy security, including Pakistani Rangers.

In the video, Furqan said, "Despite the blast, Sonu Nigam showed great courage and went on stage to perform." In the same video, Furqan mentioned, "After the Karachi bombing, Sonu and I became closer. He messages me every April 10th, saying we are brothers and that we escaped death together." In the same video, Furqan explained that Sonu had once told him, "I was attacked here... but it was a Pakistani who saved me."

When Sonu arrived at the venue, tight security was arranged for him backstage. Afterward, when he came on stage, he told the audience, "I try to entertain you. I want to say that the people of India and Pakistan are very unlucky that they are both deprived of this mutual love. Please pray... that this love always grows."

This concert was held to calm tensions between the two countries that had been raging since the 2004 Kargil War. The video also revealed that Sonu had spent several days in Karachi prior to the event, where he attended numerous public events. At that time, Sonu's songs "Main Hoon Na" and "Tumse Milke Dil Ka Hai Jo Haal" had become popular worldwide.
