The latest update is that Yash is going to start shooting for the character of Ravana in Mumbai this week; he is also a co-producer of the film. 'Ramayana' will be presented to the audience in two parts, with the first part releasing on Diwali 2026 and the second part on Diwali 2027.
According to a report by Pinkvilla, Yash has completed a big schedule of his second film 'Toxic' and now he is ready to start shooting for 'Ramayana' from this week. Following the tradition of starting every new film with a temple visit, Yash will visit the Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain. In this shoot to be held in Mumbai, Yash will work on his solo scene. The makers have prepared a special set to welcome pan-India star Yash. This schedule will start from the end of April and will last for about a month, after which Yash will return to the shooting of 'Toxic'.
Yash is not only acting in this film, which is being made in collaboration with Yash's company Monster Mind Creations and DNEG, but is also playing a deep role in the creative process.
