Yash is going to start shooting for 'Ramayana', a big update came on Nitesh Tiwari's film

For quite some time, 'Ramayana', the most discussed film of Indian cinema, has been in the news. Starring Yash, Ranbir Kapoor, Sunny Deol, and Sai Pallavi, this film is directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The latest update is that Yash is going to start shooting for the character of Ravana in Mumbai this week; he is also a co-producer of the film. 'Ramayana' will be presented to the audience in two parts, with the first part releasing on Diwali 2026 and the second part on Diwali 2027.

According to a report by Pinkvilla, Yash has completed a big schedule of his second film 'Toxic' and now he is ready to start shooting for 'Ramayana' from this week. Following the tradition of starting every new film with a temple visit, Yash will visit the Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain. In this shoot to be held in Mumbai, Yash will work on his solo scene. The makers have prepared a special set to welcome pan-India star Yash. This schedule will start from the end of April and will last for about a month, after which Yash will return to the shooting of 'Toxic'.

Yash is not only acting in this film, which is being made in collaboration with Yash's company Monster Mind Creations and DNEG, but is also playing a deep role in the creative process. Ranbir Kapoor will play the role of Lord Rama in 'Ramayana', while Yash will make a strong presence in the character of Ravana. The confrontation between the two will be the biggest attraction of the film. Sunny Deol is playing the role of Hanuman in this film. He can start shooting for the film in June.

After the blockbuster success of 'KGF' and 'KGF 2', Yash is ready to rock the box office with two big projects in 2026. His film 'Toxic' will be released in March 2026, which is being shot in Kannada and English to reach a global audience. This will be followed by the first part of 'Ramayana' in October.
