'Andaz Apna Apna' fame Shehzad Khan has been away from films for five years, said - I cannot do flattery

The movie 'Andaz Apna Apna' was originally released in 1994. It was again released in theaters on 25 April 2025. Shehzad Khan acted in the role of 'Bhalla' in the movie. He has discussed the movie and its release.

There was a time when Shehzad Khan was seen in many films but now he is not seen in films. When asked about this, he told Bollywood Hungama in a conversation, 'I have bread in my hand and I will give you the right answer. Now a community of casting directors has emerged. They are acting themselves. They are doing everything. They have a few select actors whom they cast again and again. After working in many films, I cannot be expected to be a sycophant.'

Shehzad further said, 'We are clean people. Give me a role, I will play it according to my ability. Give 'Bhalla' good roles. He is a legend. I usually do not think about myself. I know that I am a laborer man. Till my last breath I want to learn and work. After doing films for many years, I do not remember how many films I have done.'

Shehzad Khan further said, 'I have worked in many web series. We are actors. We do our work. Take our wages and go home. The producers and OTT platforms know what to do with it. Till then you can see me in news debates. Whenever the country needs me and whenever there is injustice, I always raise my voice.'

He further said, 'I speak without any bias. I do not support any political party. I only support those who do the right thing, whether it is the BJP government or any other government. I respect my Prime Minister and everyone should do the same.
