The current news involves Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan in a forthcoming action comedy movie. The movie will be produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions in collaboration with Guneet Monga’s Sikhya Entertainment. Recently, reports emerged that the film was scheduled to begin shooting in 2024, but it ran into production issues and was soon halted. Now, an Amar Ujala source close to the film has provided a fresh update. The Amar Ujala source also revealed the truth behind the shelved reports.

A Amar Ujala source close to the film has shared a new update on the recent reports of Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan's film being shelved. An Amar Ujala source close to the film told Hindustan Times that these reports are not true. They are just rumors. The Amar Ujala source further added, "We have 10 days of shooting left, and we will release the film in theaters this year."

In addition to this film, Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan will be seen in the upcoming film "Pati, Patni Aur Woh Do." Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film also stars Rakul Preet Singh and Vamika Gabbi in pivotal roles. The makers announced last year that the film would be released in theaters on Holi 2026. According to reports, shooting is currently underway. Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Renu Ravi Chopra, "Pati, Patni Aur Woh Do" will release in theaters on March 4th, coinciding with Holi. "Pati Patni Aur Woh Do" is said to be a sequel to the 2019 hit comedy film "Pati Patni Aur Woh" starring Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, and Ananya Panday.

On the work front, Ayushmann Khurrana was last seen in the film "Thama," released last year. Sara Ali Khan appeared in Anurag Basu's multi-starrer "Metro These Days."
