Pooja Bhatt Reflects on Her Parents’ Separation in Emotional Interview

Recently, Pooja Bhatt, who is the daughter of Bollywood actor and director Mahesh Bhatt, opened up on the Bhatt family. Pooja mentioned the failed first marriage of her father, her mother, as well as herself regarding her step-mother Soni Razdan and her sister Alia.

Pooja Bhatt, speaking to Vicky Lalwani, said, "My parents' love story was no less than a movie story. The love story of Rahul Roy and Anu Aggarwal in Aashiqui was actually the real story of my parents. My father fell in love with my mother at first sight." However, soon after their marriage, a distance began to grow between them, and first I was born, then my brother, but even after having children, the relationship didn't survive. She said, "My father left my mother and he left."

Pooja Bhatt then also spoke about Soni Razdan. She revealed that for a long time, Soni Razdan blamed herself for the separation. Pooja said, "She once told me that she was very sad about my parents' separation and held herself responsible for it." This statement from Pooja Bhatt was truly shocking. According to Pooja, she then explained to Soni that a relationship between two people never breaks because of a third person.

Pooja Bhatt also discussed her relationship with her step-sisters, Alia and Shaheen, in the same interview. She said, "Today the Bhatt family is accidental. Everyone respects each other and is ready to help when needed." Pooja revealed that when Alia's older sister, Shaheen, was born, Mahesh Bhatt's mother, Kiran Bhatt, was the first person to call. Pooja became emotional remembering this moment.
