The Dune 3 trailer has been released and marks the last installment in this science fiction saga. It offers fantastic visuals and some emotionally charged scenes.
Timothée Chalamet plays Paul Atreides once again, and now Paul has to confront the great danger which lies in the fact that there’s a war being waged under his name. In the trailer, we see Paul coping with the weight of his responsibilities and decisions he has to take.
Zendaya makes an appearance in the trailer as well. However, now there's definitely a divide between Paul and Chani which can be seen when compared to Dune Part 2.
The trailer also gives a glimpse of Robert Pattinson's character, Scytale, who appears to be part of a larger conspiracy against Paul. Alia Atreides is seen covered in blood and screaming, adding to the suspense of the story. At the end of the trailer, Chani is shown summoning a sandworm, hinting at the film's big action.
The story of "Dune 3" is set approximately 20 years after Paul Atreides has become Emperor. But now he is paying the price for his power. Old allies are returning, new enemies emerge, and treachery lurks everywhere.
Paul has terrifying visions of the empire's future demise. Meanwhile, a major secret involving his old love and Chani is revealed. As the rebellion grows, Paul learns the true cost of power.
The film is directed by Denis Villeneuve. It stars Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Jason Momoa, Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Robert Pattinson.
The film will be released in India on December 18th. It will be released in English and Hindi, as well as in larger formats like 3D and IMAX.
