Shahana Goswami Reveals She Was Once Obsessed With Milind Soman
Shahana Goswami: Milind Soman's ex-girlfriend, Shahana Goswami, has opened up about her relationship with the actor. She also spoke about love and freedom.
Milind Soman is a model and actor who shares many pictures and videos along with his wife, Ankita Kunwar. On the other hand, his girlfriend Shahana Goswami has talked about her love history with Milind Soman. For Shahana, seeing Milind Soman on the silver screen was love at first sight. She revealed everything about herself and how she tried to catch his attention.
In a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Shahana Goswami said, "When I was 16-17 years old, I was in Delhi and one of Milind's films was released. My school friends and I went to see it. I thought, 'Why are we going to see a film about a model?' It might be some terrible acting, but I was mesmerized by Milind in the film.
She further added, "After the film, I became obsessed with him. Look how fate played a trick. I was searching for his address on the internet so I could send him letters, and then I found his landline number. I texted him and wished him a happy birthday, and he replied immediately."
She further added, "For six years, we were in touch only through text messages; we never spoke on the phone. I never wrote 'I love you' like an obsessed fan. We just bumped into each other. Six years later, when we were both single, I texted him, and then we started dating."
Milind was 43, and Shahana was 20 at the time. Responding to the discussion about their age difference, Shahana said, "I never realized it at the time. I was wise beyond my years."
Shahana Goswami also explained why she ended their relationship in 2013. She said, "It was all a matter of timing. We loved each other very much until the end. When you feel like your relationship isn't working out, you have to let it go."
The "Santosh" actress further added, "I was going through a phase when I realized I wasn't the kind of person who could be tied down in a traditional relationship. I believe deeply in love, but I also believe in freedom. Over time, I've learned that if you keep someone tied down, it's not love. Let them be free."
Milind Soman married Ankita Kunwar in April 2018.
