She said that the accusation of praising Pakistan is absurd and that the film speaks of humanity, not politics. The actress, who plays Maryam in the film, said that this outrage ignores the true essence of the story. The pain, honesty, and losses of war. It's a deeply personal matter. So I don't think I have the right to criticize those who are uncomfortable with it. But I can speak for myself. It's an anti-war film.
