Madhuri Dixit on Hosting ‘Kon Honar Crorepati’

Mumbai, August 10 — Veteran actress Madhuri Dixit is set to take on a new role as the host of the upcoming Marathi game show Kon Honar Crorepati.

Opening up about the show and her experience as a host, Dixit said it celebrates curiosity, aspiration, hope and the courage to dream. She also highlighted how the programme brings together knowledge, aspirations and the inspiring stories of its contestants.

Kon Honar Crorepati will soon premiere on Sony Marathi and Sony LIV. The Hindi version of the format, hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, is titled Kaun Banega Crorepati.

Dixit has previously appeared on several reality shows as a judge and special guest. Taking on the role of host for Kon Honar Crorepati, however, marks a new chapter in her television journey. Veteran actor Sachin Khedekar has been associated with the Marathi edition as its host for the past few seasons.

The appointment brings one of Hindi and Marathi cinema’s most recognised faces to a long-running quiz franchise, positioning the new season around both intellectual challenge and personal stories of ambition.
