She has also shared the important factor that matters to her whenever she takes on a film.
During an interview with Hindustan Times, Taapsee Pannu opened up about discovering her true identity after a string of flops and heartbreaks. "I had to go through a series of flops and heartbreaking experiences to find my true identity," she said. I realized that I perform best in films where my heart and mind are completely involved in what I'm presenting. That project has a deep connection with the audience. So now I just listen to my conscience. I probably don't choose projects that will boost my bank account, but rather those that will hone my artistic abilities and pave a new path that not many people have trodden.
The actress also revealed that she chose some projects and roles that were not successful at the box office. However, Taapsee's unique work and characters brought her success. Since then, she trusts her intuition without hesitation in following the traditional formula. She admitted that she has created her own algorithm.
On the work front, Taapsee was last seen in the 2024 film "Khel Khel Mein." It was a multi-starrer comedy. Her upcoming projects include films like "Woh Ladki Hai Kahan?", "Gandhari," and "Durga." She has already begun shooting for "Durga."
