Manoj Bajpayee Reveals How Amitabh Bachchan Once Convinced Him to Attempt a Life-Threatening Stunt

Actor Manoj Bajpayee is in news these days for the web series "The Family Man 3." He recently shared a funny yet scary incident with Amitabh Bachchan on "Kaun Banega Crorepati." He remembered an incident from 26 years ago when Amitabh Bachchan convinced him to do a stunt that could have claimed his life.

Amitabh Bachchan had asked Manoj Bajpayee to perform a height-related stunt. Manoj Bajpayee explained, "Amitabh Bachchan almost killed me once. I get dizzy. I was working on a film at the time. The action director asked me to jump off a waterfall that was approximately 150-200 feet high."

Manoj Bajpayee further explained, "I refused to jump from such a height. I said, 'I'll die or I'll have a heart attack.' No one could convince me to do this. After that, everyone went to Amitabh Bachchan." Manoj Bajpayee explained, "Amitabh Bachchan told me, 'Look, Manoj, I'm here, we'll only go 50 feet up. Going any higher could be dangerous. He has trusted us. Don't back down.'"

Manoj Bajpayee further explained that he refused to perform the stunt again. Amitabh Bachchan replied, "Listen, if anything happens to you, report me to Jaya Bachchan. I love her very much." Hearing this incident from Manoj Bajpayee, everyone present at the show started laughing.

The web series "The Family Man 3," starring Manoj Bajpayee, was released on November 21st. It stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Nimrat Kaur, Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, Ashlesha Thakur, Darshan Kumar, Vedant Sinha and Shreya Dhanwanthary.
