At the pre-release event of “Ramayana” in Hyderabad on Monday, Ranbir Kapoor gave his Telugu-speaking fans a pleasant surprise. The actor, who plays Lord Rama in the film, addressed the audience in Telugu to thank them for their love. The crowd applauded, and co-star Sai Pallavi, who plays Sita, was visibly delighted.

In his message, Ranbir said he wanted to thank all his Telugu-speaking fans, as well as his “brothers and sisters across the world,” for accepting him and his work. He promised to always work hard to give them a memorable experience on the big screen. He added that he hoped he had spoken the language correctly and made no mistakes.
